Do I need to upgrade my processor?

A processor is just worth updating if the overhaul is huge. In any case, it's costly and may expect you to update your motherboard (and that may expect you to purchase new Write My Essay). Regardless of whether your motherboard is perfect with another processor on paper, it might require a BIOS refresh to work.

Hopefully that works for you: Then you can ignore the below.  Keep in mind things add up and pretty soon you would have been better off putting the money towards a new gamer.

For improved gaming the options you have are quite a bit but not really a bargain and hardly guaranteed.  For $85 you can bump up your speed 600MHz.  You can go 6 cores for $100 with only a slight speed loss, but that seems to me unlikely to help gaming.

Either way if you do a CPU swap, update the BIOS to the last version available (if not already) BEFORE the swap.

Thanks for the reply, and I will probably upgrade another 4gb of ram before the month is over. I plan on building another PC soon enough anyways, just wanted something quick since I have some extra free time now. Been to long since I have done so, and the price of most computers already pre-built just aren't worth it. At least I'll have some descent parts when I do so. But the 2 sticks I did get are 1600, just have to overclock it if it would really make that big of a difference, not sure why I got the crucial instead of the ripjaws though. Didn't know there was going to be that much price difference.

It will be a lot better then it was but depending on your resolution but your probably not going to see 40 - 50 FPS But it will be playable

Your air flow is fine. You can always take the side off but the 7770 does no get that hot. Upgrading your CPU will help some but not much. You made the best up grade you could. 1600 Ram would have been nice. 

Upgrading proprietary PCs can be a pain. Hope everything fits and works for ya
