How to create a link

I was wondering how to create a link that says something besides what it is.  For example, I want to send an email saying - go to here  instead of saying go to www.newegg.com.  But when you click here it takes you to newegg. Can anyone help?...

Ah hah. Thank you.

It's a bit awkward at first. I'll play with it.

I see the chain but it is greyed out. How do I use it?

Type some Text.  Highlight the text.  Click the chain.  Listen to Nightwish.

Basic HTML mate, there's more tutorials on stuff like that than I have Xgirlfriends.

Do a google search, this is the first one I found when I did it quickly.

For future use, you can right click on any webpage, and then left click on the VIEW SOURCE option.  A notepadish version of the html will pop up and you can learn a lot from that - a lot.

As always, using the Control + F (the find feature) can quickly assist in finding what you may be digging for.

When posting you'll see a bar right above where you are typing your post it will have the bold, italic, underlined and such. If you go over to where it looks like a "chain" you click the chain and there yah go.
