What chipset does the DSL-2540B have?

I've read the European version has TI AR7.. but the US version is said to have Broadcom..I'm in the US....

I found out on another forum.  If you download the firmware and open it in a Hex Editor it says on the top lines. Broadcom Corporatio ver. 2.0 6338

So from that we know  DSL-2540B is absolutely stock standard OEM broadcom box with 6338 chip and 2MB of flash memory.

I see you've posted at at least 3 other places today with the same question but I too can't find any info on the chipset.

can't find any info about this. it reminds of TI OMAP vs Intel Xscale. :-) you'd better to contact the vendor to make sure if it really matters.
