PC starts, but no display

This question is answered

I bought some new parts to upgrade my PC, but whenever I try to turn on the system it lights up, fans start spinning, and it will not output a display (through onboard or a video card). This computer has worked fine, I was only trying to upgrade it to run better with newer games (because my old specs world crash the system).

The new parts are:

Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

ASRock Z170 Gaming K4/D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Being put with:

Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB STRIX Video Card

Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Cooler Master V850 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Western Digital Se 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Seagate Surveillance HDD 4TB 3.5" 5900RPM Internal Hard Drive

  • That motherboard needs the latest BIOS version to work with that processor.

    You should of bought a Z270 board or a i7 6700K processor.
