adding ram on my computer

i have a SONY Laptop VAIO EH Series VPCEH2KFX/B and I was wondering if I could add ram to this

  • Not sure about adding, but you should at least be able to swap it in order to get more. Looking it up it looks to have DDR3 memory (I would assume just one stick; however, unsure) so if you just get a better stick with 240 pins you should be good.

    Any  DDR3 ram should work, you could use https://pcpartpicker.com/ to look at different ones. just go to system build and look at memory. There you can filter it by pin count or type of ram, for you, I believe it is DDR3

    Just to be clear, I'm not 100% sure on the matter, just what I have found and doing some assumptions

    Google-ing the model gets the Sony spec sheet.  Looks like it was shipped with 4GB of DDR3/1333mhz RAM.  Upgradeable to 8GB.

    But to steal Zerk's link, which he posts with questions like this:

    Will help you make sure, at least as far as Crucial brand RAM is concerned.
