I would definitely go with the larger SSD and wouldn't worry about the M.2 drive. A 2.5" drive is just so much easier it's also cheaper so you can buy a drive twice the size for only a small increase ......

I may have solved the issue. One monitor was running at 1080p 75hz(native resolution is 1080p 60hz) and the other was running at 1080p 60hz (Native resolution). I'll keep this post updated if it's not...
